Danilo has a strong documentary sensibility. His approach to photography emerged from lived experiences that responded to questions imposed by life itself. His documentary works have been recognized at various national and international festivals, bringing attention to minority issues such as invasions of Yanomami lands, the genocide of the Guarani Kaiowá people, and the trajectory of Nego Bala, an artist from Cracolândia.
